Ok here we go. I just clicked on a link from AW's main page to a dirtsheet article that I thought might interest me. It takes you to another website but I would assume that AW is endorsing it. This is a major website that covers wrasslin and has serious journalists.I'm trying to be serious - I think.

This is the state of internet wrasslin news.

Too Much of a Good Thing

Blah blah blah the brandsplit might have been a good idea BUT ... this is what's happened because of it. Blah blah blah ... too much WWE programming fans don't care anymore oversaturated too much to watch blah blah blah ..... now a quote from Eric Bitchoff --- WTF Eric who? "There is a problem when there are now 24 WWE pay per views a year."

HOLD ON!

Who gave who the idea there are 24 ppvs a year? Even a 12 year old Certified G wearin little boy knows there aren't 24 a year. Did Eric really say that? is a basement dwelling scum sucking dirtsheet writer lying? Are we to believe that Bitchoff is so uninformed that he thinks there are 24 WWE ppvs a year now? For the record there are 4 crossbranded plus 12 brand exclusive, according to wwe.com

This article goes on to tout the greatess of the current NXT. I looked at the NXT roster and it's so thinned out from being raided by the main roster that I have no idea who two-thirds of the wrasslers are. Quote : NXT has perfected the formula in which hotter crowds have an emotional investment in great characters and storylines.

Hot crowds? With constant chanting of the stupidest sh## which takes away from the show. With the fans that invade the post Mania Raw and chant stupid sh## which has begun to ruin what used to be the best Raw of the year?

NXT fans don't make WWE rich and pay the multi-million dollar salaries of wrasslin's top stars. Storylines? Storylines that a few thousand people are viewing aren't industry shattering storylines. Give me a break! It's the same yada yada yada that's TNA or ROH level viewing. NXT used to be great but now there's nothing left, until they can rebuild.

Misinformation, possibly outright lies, and wrasslin mark style writing.

"That’s a challenge now in 2016 with twenty-four PPVs a year that WWE has. How do you make those twenty-four PPVs, aside from the big four, how do you make them feel different and unique enough that people are compelled to reach in their wallet and spend money on it? That I think is the problem."
