It is the summer for one thing. But I agree, comments are low. I will say this, maybe we should start an AW fan Counsel? We pick 3 people and come up with ideas.

As I mentioned on the "site needs drama" blogs, I wonder how many of the long time site regulars are watching wrestling these days. For those of us in that group, we basically grew up watching WWE, WCW, and ECW...there were more choices. If you didn't like what one company was presenting at that time you could watch something else to fulfill your wrestling fix. As Jim Cornette mentioned in a podcast there are probably fewer people watching wrestling in North America right now than there have been for decades. Non-WWE promotions basically have a miniscule audience right now, which is unfortunate that those companies can't get their product out in front of enough viewers to give us legit viewing choices again. If you are watching TNA or ROH, you are already a wrestling fan...that isn't growing the fan base like Hulkamania or the Attitude Era.

Also, on a more personal level, those of us who were around back then are likely at a different place in life now. In 2004-2005 when I started here, I was in college, now I am an adult with a wife and kids and a decently successful career. I haven't watched a full episode of Raw or Smackdown in over a year, but I check in to read the TV and PPV reviews. I'm just not going to comment as much on something I'm not as active in following now, and I'm sure as hell not gonna be the guy who comes on just to whine and bi### and moan and complain constantly about how I hate everything, everything sucks, blah blah blah.

I'm sure others will chime in to say things such as a certain member did X or a certain admin did Y, that's all well and fine and I'll check back to see how that goes, or if it goes.

Great comment, sir.  I moved on with my life as well and found myself growing tired with commenting on this site.  I still watch wrestling every single week, but just don't feel the need to comment about it much anymore.

What went wrong?!

Trey and Steve.

Why?!

Mark let those two destroy this site from behind the scenes with their secret admin accounts which they used to attack other users and stir up trouble between members. I've seen a lot of sh## on this site and it's never bothered me in the slightest. But when you've got people like them on here when at that time we're trying to keep this site going and they're being malicious with the power they had then that's me done and not even the musings of HeartPunch could keep me here. And looking back at the blogs for the last few months when it was only Steve left on here posting the same sh##.... it seems I wasn't alone.

I still enjoy my wrestling though!

Personally, I left because I found better things to do with my time.  This site also became infested with bullsh## and stupid content from members.  I'm a bit salty over never receiving my free t-shirt for getting a perfect ppv pick em score over two years ago.  I messaged Mark multiple times and got the same old run around answer of, "Oh sorry, I need to order more.  I'll get them soon".  I don't like people who lie to me.  This site is lame.
